Sharing OneDrive documents

This feature applies only to OneDrive documents (SharePoint 2013 and later).

To view with whom a document is shared:

  1. Find the required document, and then tap its name.
  2. Tap Show Document Info.
  3. Tap the Actions menu () > Shared With, or tap the Shared With icon ().
  4. Each person or group you shared the document with is listed, with their access level to the document.

View with whom the document is shared

To share documents with others:

  1. Find the required document, and then tap its name.
  2. Tap Show Document Info.
  3. Tap the Actions menu () > Shared With, or tap the Shared With icon ().
  4. Tap the Invite People icon ().
  5. Type the name or the email address of each person or group you want to share the document with. Type Everyone to share with everyone in your organization.
  6. Tap the resolved full name to add it to the sharing list.
  7. Tap the Permissions to grant: View / Edit permissions.
  8. To see the list of people you selected, tap the arrow next to Invite People and then tap Selected People.
  9. Tap the check mark next to Email invitation, to send / not send an email to the people you invite.
  10. Tap Done.

Share the document with others

To edit sharing permissions:

  1. Find the required document, and then tap its name.
  2. Tap Show Document Info.
  3. Tap the Actions menu () > Shared With, or tap the Shared With icon ().
  4. Tap the Edit People icon ().
  5. Select a person and tap the permission level. Tap Can view, or Can edit to change permission.
  6. Tap the OK icon () when done.

To stop sharing a document:

  1. Find the required document, and then tap its name.
  2. Tap Show Document Info.
  3. Tap the Actions menu () > Shared With, or tap the Shared With icon ().
  4. Tap the Edit People icon ().
  5. Select a person and tap the permission level. Tap Stop sharing to remove this person from the sharing list.
  6. Tap the OK icon () when done.
