Enterprise mobile collaboration leader harmon.ie today announced the closing of a milestone year in 2014. The company closed an impressive year in terms of revenue, new customers, and global expansion thanks to continued harmon.ie market traction and product advancements such as its new project management solution. Closing 300 new customer deals in 2014 and driving 94 percent year-over-year growth in mobile sales with a major spike in subscription sales, prominent client wins include British Land, Central Bank of Ireland, Freddie Mac, General Dynamics, Pepco Holdings, Inc. and PwC.
“Unlocking the power of information is a critical piece to the productivity puzzle in today’s workplace. Organizations are striving to provide the right tools, culture, and IT ecosystem for employees, business partners, suppliers, and customers to communicate and collaborate in real time and in context, but connecting an increasing assortment of disjointed applications and cloud services is a tough task,” noted Stacy K. Crook, research director, mobile enterprise research, IDC. “As a company focused on leading the convergence of critical information, harmon.ie aims to give business users the information they need in the proper, real-time context via any device, while making it easier for IT to connect all the pieces needed for today’s digital workstream.”
Expanding U.S. Footprint
Now serving 450 U.S. companies, the Israeli-founded company significantly grew its U.S. presence in 2014. Opening a new North American headquarter in Boston, the company also expanded its executive leadership team, appointing Avi Mileguir as general manager and vice president of sales for the Americas late in the year. Based in Boston, Mileguir is charged with accelerating harmon.ie’s North American growth and aggressively growing the channel program. With 15+ years of demonstrated success driving multimillion-dollar sales and customer management while providing award-winning sales leadership in highly competitive markets for public companies, Mileguir will help the executive team guide the company through the intense growth anticipated in the year ahead.
“Joining harmon.ie at such a momentum inflection point is thrilling,” noted Mileguir. “harmon.ie is primed for explosive success given its strategic growth and innovation in 2014 combined with the industry’s intensifying focus on meeting the evolving needs of the digital workplace. Growing the North American team and partner program will fast track that growth.”
Transforming the Digital Workplace
As an increasing number of disconnected enterprise cloud services are implemented in the new digital workplace, business users are faced with a fragmented user experience and an incomplete view of work activities/updates. Extending its product capabilities to encompass business cloud services from multiple vendors, the company launched harmon.ie Collage in December 2014 - giving business professionals an intuitive way to see all their business updates in one screen, which allows them to focus on the task at hand by piecing together the right information, at the right time and within the right topical context. Collage delivers a 360-degree view across enterprise cloud services to give workers the first contextual, single-screen workstream.
Delivering Industry Perspective and Earning Validation
Continuing its push to understand and lead market trends, the company also released “The State of Mobile Enterprise Collaboration 2014: From Personal Productivity Toward the Connected Enterprise on the Go,” a comprehensive report that outlined the key barriers and opportunities of enterprise mobile collaboration based on a survey of 1,400+ Business and IT leaders. In addition, harmon.ie commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a custom study of U.S. IT decision makers to explore the business use case of cloud-based technology investments and how they plan to develop the optimal end-user experience within their organization. The December 2014 Forrester Consulting Technology Adoption Profile, “Delivering Contextual Experiences Drives Business,” found that organizations need to deliver a contextual employee experience to drive business value.
Building on its streak of prominent award wins, harmon.ie won a CRN Enterprise Collaboration Appy Award to close out the year. Experts from the executive team also spoke at a range of industry events in 2014, including KMWorld, Mobile Enterprise Canada, the NexGen Cloud Conference and a Gigaom webinar exploring how companies can empower end users to efficiently manage their workload in the cloud despite disjointed applications.
“We are helping enterprises embrace the digital transformation and deliver a fully unified mobile work experience as they realize the unstoppable power of the cloud and the rise of the empowered, tech-savvy consumer. Some organizations are ready to evolve and meet the mobile collaboration demands of the digital workplace, and others will be left in the dust as they foolishly try to deny the massive technology and social shifts changing the enterprise dynamic,” stated Yaacov Cohen, CEO of harmon.ie. “Based on our sales successes last year and the way the industry enthusiastically embraced our proven solutions and the disruptive Collage launch, 2015 will be another landmark year for harmon.ie as we extend mobile collaboration beyond the Microsoft ecosystem and lead today’s digital workforce into a new, multi-cloud era.”
In 2015, harmon.ie plans to build upon the launch of Collage and add additional cloud services and functionality. In addition, the company will expand its U.S. headquarters in Boston and continue to cultivate growth in its established harmon.ie business by intensifying product development, increasing customer support and growing its channel presence as the focus on enterprise collaboration intensifies.
