File explorer for Microsoft 365
- A dedicated window: browse SharePoint libraries, Teams channels, and OneDrive folders with the space to navigate, manage content, and view or edit document properties comfortably
- File Explorer-like layout (coming): the desktop app is designed around the familiar Windows File Explorer structure, with a tree view on the left, file list in the middle, and preview pane on the right, with everything visible at once
- Works independently of Outlook: users can manage files, apply metadata, and access Microsoft 365 content without Outlook open, making it a tool for document-centric workflows, not just email saving
Advanced file management
- Open in app: open any file type directly in its default Windows desktop application from within harmon.ie, no browser needed
- Open with: choose which installed app opens a file, instead of accepting the default
- Save as: download any SharePoint file to a location of your choice on your machine
- Full copy, cut, and paste: copy or cut any file and paste it to any location across SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, into Windows File Explorer or directly into an email
- Drag files out of harmon.ie: drag files onto File Explorer or your desktop to copy or move them, onto an email to attach them, or onto another app that accepts files
