To install harmon.ie App for Office:

To install the app for yourself:

  1. In Word, click the Office Store button () and search for harmon.ie.
  2. Click the Add button next to harmon.ie for Office.
  3. Once the harmon.ie App buttons appear in the Home ribbon, click on one of them to launch the app.
  4. Click the Connect To Office 365 button.

To centrally install the app for your organization:

  1. Open the Office 365 admin center.
  2. Select Settings > Services & add-ins.
  3. Click Upload Add-In > Next > I want to add an Add-in from the Office Store > Next.
  4. Search for harmon.ie.
  5. Click the Add button next to harmon.ie for Office.
  6. Click Who has access > Edit and grant access to Everyone or to Specific Users/Groups > Save.
  7. Click Save > Close.

To install harmon.ie App for Outlook:

harmon.ie supplies two versions of the harmon.ie App for Outlook:

  1. harmon.ie App with add-in commands.
    harmon.ie App with commands
  2. harmon.ie App without the add-in commands.
    harmon.ie App without commands

If harmon.ie for SharePoint (the standard Outlook sidebar) is installed in your organization, we suggest installing the harmon.ie app without the commands.

  1. To install the app for yourself: In Office 365 Mail, click the Settings icon () > Manage Add-ins.
    - or -
    To centrally install the app for all users: Open the Office 365 Admin Center > Exchange Admin Center > Organization > Add-Ins.
  2. Click the Add icon () > Add from a URL.
  3. Copy the appropriate file URL you wish to install and paste it to the add-in URL field.
    With add-in commands: http://app.harmon.ie/harmonieapp-withcommands.xml
    Without add-in commands http://app.harmon.ie/harmonieapp-nocommands.xml
  4. Click Next > Install > OK.
  5. Register a license file.

To configure email headers mapping:

  1. In the harmon.ie app, click the Settings icon ().
  2. Click Email Headers Mapping.
  3. Edit the Email Content Types and the SharePoint Columns matching each Email Header. You may supply multiple values separated by semicolons (;).
  4. Click Save.
  5. Select between:
    • Save for me: saves the email headers for yourself, without affecting other users.
    • Default for all users: saves the email headers for all users; users can edit the mappings.
    • Force for all users: saves the email headers for all users; users cannot edit the mappings.

To register a license:

Note: You must be connected to Office 365 to register a license.

  1. In the harmon.ie app, click the Settings icon ().
  2. In Windows / mobile: click Upload License, browse and select the license file (.lic) you received from harmon.ie and click Open.
  3. In Mac: Drag the license file to the Drop License Here box.
  4. Select between Upload license for me (register the license only for you, without affecting other users) and Upload license for all users.

To enable Sites I'm Following for all users

The following procedure enables the Sites I'm Following > Connect button for all users. The users should be directed to connect in order to view their followed sites from the harmon.ie app.

  1. In the harmon.ie app, click the Settings icon ().
  2. Under Sites I'm Following, click Enable.
  3. Supply your username and password.
  4. You are prompted to grant permissions to the harmon.ie app to access specified resources; click Accept.
  5. Click Close to return to the harmon.ie app.
