If a site was already open, tap the Views menu () > Browse () view to go to the last opened location.
harmon.ie shows the available Sites, Libraries, and then Lists.
Tap a subsite (),
document library (),
Wiki library (),
document set (),
item list (),
task list (),
contact list (),
issues list (),
announcements list (),
links list (), or
calendar list ()
to see their contents.
To navigate back to the parent location, tap the Back icon ().
To view the breadcrumbs of the current location, tap the breadcrumbs icon (). Tap a location to browse to it.
What to do when navigation fails?
harmon.ie complies with the permission levels defined by the SharePoint administrator and allows you to view documents depending on your user's permissions. harmon.ie hides SharePoint subsites for which you have limited or no access.
Browsing to a certain location may fail with an Access Denied error if:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this location.
The credentials for the SharePoint site have changed.
If the credentials for the site have changed:
Tap Change Credentials.
In the Edit Credentials pane, type the new Password.
If other sites, configured with the same password, need to be updated, tap the check mark next to Update all sites.
Navigate to a SharePoint link:
To open a SharePoint location or document/item for which you have a URL:
Tap the URL to which you want to navigate. In the 'Complete action using' menu, select harmon.ie (The URL can be in an email message or in any other application).
harmon.ie identifies that you have a URL in the Clipboard, and asks you if you want to browse to this location. Tap Yes.
If the URL contains a SharePoint location, harmon.ie navigates to this location. If the URL contains a document/item, harmon.ie opens its Document/Item Info panel.
Note: harmon.ie can only open SharePoint links in sites that are already registered.
To open a recent location:
Tap the Views menu () > Locations () > History.
Tap a recent location to browse to it, or a document to view the document or its Document Info.
To clear the history list:
Tap the Views menu () > Locations () > History.
To set how many locations to display in the history list:
Tap the Views menu () > Settings () > Locations.
In the History Locations area, tap the + or – buttons to increase or decrease the number of last visited locations you want to track (Max: 20 locations).
Tap Restore () if you want to return to the default number (15).
To search for documents/items:
Tap the Views menu () > Browse view () to navigate the site, subsites, document libraries, lists, or folders, you want to search.
Search for documents/items as follows:
Filter as you type: Tap Find (), and start typing in the Find search box. The list displays only SharePoint locations and documents/items that include the text in any of the visible fields (for example, document/item name, modification date, or last modified by) and highlights the matched text.
SharePoint search: To search for the text in the SharePoint site / document library / list, tap the Tap to search 'xyz' in this document/item library/folder link.
For consecutive searches, tap the Search icon (), which appears after the first SharePoint search.
To clear the search text, tap the Clear icon ().
To close the search, tap Cancel.
To filter the documents by tags:
This feature applies to SharePoint 2010 and later.
Note: This option is only available if metadata tags are enabled in the document library.
Tap the Down arrow () below the document library name to select the view you want to filter.
Tap the Actions menu () > Tags ().
Start typing a term in the Find bar. All the terms that begin with the characters you type are displayed, including both managed terms and enterprise keywords. The term set in which the term exists is displayed in brackets.
Select the terms to be used to filter the selected view, and tap Done. A list of all documents that contain any of the selected filter terms appears.
To save your filter criteria, you must save this location as a favorite.
The location is saved as a favorite together with the selected tags. The Tags icon () indicates that the favorite location has been saved with tags.
The columns defined in the current view are displayed. The list is sorted according to the sort order defined in the current view, and the column name by which the list is sorted is shown in blue. The up/down arrow next to this column name indicates an ascending/descending sort order.
You can sort the list by each visible column.
Pinch a column name out/in to resize that column.
The Show Grid command is only available if the current location is not set with No View.
When you select Show Grid, each location you browse to is shown in grid view. Tap the Actions menu () > Show List () to return to list view.
To sort the documents/items list:
Browse to the location you want to sort. You can sort document libraries, lists, document sets and folders.
In list view: Tap the Actions menu () > Sort () and select the sort criteria:
By Modified Date
Other sort criteria are available if you selected a view that defines sort order.
In grid view: Tap a column name to sort the list by this column.
The list starts with the sorted folders and then displays the sorted documents/items.
Sorting by the same sort criteria twice reverses the sorting order.
To open a site in browser:
Browse to the site. Tap the Actions menu () > Open in Browser ()

In the Sites or Browse view, swipe a site name > click the Open in Browser icon ().
The site URL opens in an internal browser within the harmon.ie app.
Tap Done to return to harmon.ie.
To refresh the documents/items list:
Pull the list down, until you see the line Release to refresh…
