According to a recent survey, commissioned by harmon.ie and fielded by online research firm uSamp, the increasingly common perceived need to stay connected at all times in the workplace has reduced civility and is interfereing with people's ability to focus on the task at hand.  For example, 2 out of 3 people will tune out of a meeting to communicate digitally with someone else (!)
