PREVIEW DOCUMENTS

Users are able to preview documents directly from SharePoint Online or on-premise without the need to download the document. Locating the right document has never been easier!

SkyDrive Pro inside Outlook with harmon.ie

SkyDrive Pro offline support

Users can synchronize SharePoint libraries directly from harmon.ie and have the libraries content available to them while they are offline. Once users have synchronized a SharePoint library to their computer, a new location is added to the sites drop-down list, called SharePoint (local files) where users can select the location and work on the synchronized files offline.

SkyDrive Share capabilities (Ad-hoc sharing)

When users attach documents from their SkyDrive to an e-mail message, the documents can be automatically shared with the e-mail recipients. Another option is to simply right click on the document that the users would like to share, select the Share menu item and specify the person’s name and the access level they wish to grant that person.

SharePoint online or on-premise + Yammer

Yammer social interactions

harmon.ie 4 brings Yammer social interactions directly into the users' email window. For instance, when selecting a colleague's image, the Yammer feed is filtered to show all the recent conversations of that colleague.

Yammer micro-blogging

Now users can take advantage of Yammer’s micro-blogging capabilities, all within the email window. Users can take part in and view group conversations, preview documents, and mention colleagues (@mention) in order to include them in the discussion and much more.

Work on Documents with Colleagues

Access documents on SharePoint directly from Microsoft Outlook.
Drag SharePoint documents from harmon.ie to send links. harmon.ie can preempt attachment sending by replacing with links.

Drag EMAIL ATTACHMENTS

Drag e-mail attachments or entire e-mail messages to publish on SharePoint.

SHARE DOCUMENTS

Add document links to an e-mail message, calendar appointment, or task.

REPLACE ATTACHMENTS WITH LINKS

Replace attachments with links and send e-mail ... in one step. When sending a message with an attachment, harmon.ie prompts to publish the document on SharePoint and send a link instead.

‘CHECK IN’, ‘CHECK OUT’

Right click to 'check out' and edit a document. When finished, 'check in' the changes.

EDIT DOCUMENT PROPERTIES

Edit document properties, directly from Outlook. When finished, harmon.ie prompts to 'check in' the changes. When using required document properties, harmon.ie prompts to fill them in when uploading the document.

Approve documents, view the 'social' document history, and more.

Rate favorite documents

Document Ratings let users score documents; the average rating for each document is displayed in the sidebar. Sorting the library by ratings is an excellent way to quickly find the most popular documents.

Note Board Integration

From personal profiles, users can access and share information and leave comments about documents, folders, libraries, and subsites.
