Feature request

I have a feature request: make it possible for the user to setup rules for bringing up the Harmony window upon clicking send. Here's my thoughts

  1. Allow the user to associate contact groups with a certain SP/gDocs folder
  2. Compare the email addressees from the email against contact groups, if an address is found to match one from these groups, bring up the associated SP/gDocs folder. Conflicts are a more normal scenario than not & therefore would need to be handled; here's some options:
    • majority of matches wins & pulls up the associated folder
    • a dialog box is brought up with matching folders to allow user to arbitrate

The user could configure a default for whether or not to load Harmony when no match is found (I'd prefer not loading on no match--only b/c it takes on the order of 10 seconds for Harmony to load on my machine...)

This is a great plug in & I appreciate it a bunch. It really helps get me away from the mentality of sending everything in an email and instead getting it into a repository, but avoids requiring the user to change their preference of using a well-engrained user interface for communication.

Oh, also, one more feature request. It would be great if Harmony could aid the user in making choices to ensure their email correspondence gets cataloged for future retreival by new project members. Assuming the above feature could be implemented, upon choice of a folder (whether automatically chosen via matching or by arbitration) , present the user with a list of previously defined email addresses. This would allow users to target a specific user from a project as the recipient of the email, but ensure an emailable SP forum could be carbon copied/BCC'd for future retreival. As far as the "previously defined email addresses" is concerned, just as in the above feature request, you could allow the user to setup rules ahead of time so this part could be automated. Then, users wouldn't need to be bombarded with another choice (as efficiency is the name of your product's game), but instead, they could pre-direct the tool as to when it should offer them help on additional email options. No match, no additional dialog box.

Regards, thanks for a great product, & keep on keepin' on!
